For the first time, the new European standard for the fatigue design of steel structures explicitly covers HFMI-treated welded joints.<\/p><p>This provides a technology that has been scientifically studied and used in industry for many years with an important additional basis for its consideration in standards-compliant fatigue design.<\/p><p>The regulatory implementation of the new generation
